Matthias Ambrose Scholarship/Trapper Provider

The Matthias Ambrose Scholarship is available to residents of the Big Horn Basin, Wyoming (from the towns of Basin, Burlington, Byron, Cody, Cowley, Deaver, Frannie, Greybull, Hyattville, Lovell, Manderson, Otto, Powell, Shell, Ten Sleep, Thermopolis, and Worland). Applicants must have and maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA and full time enrollment. The cumulative 2.75 GPA must be maintained after the Fall semester to receive Spring disbursement of the scholarship. Matthias Ambrose was a little boy who lived to share life with his family for a very short time. The scholarship has been funded to continue his memory while helping those seeking to further their education. Matthias would not of been an honor student, but he would of been caring and loved by many. Those who apply for his scholarship should have a love of life and desire to better themselves through Northwest College.
