Music (Vocal/Instrumental) Activity-Talent Scholarship

Music (Vocal/Instrumental) Activity-Talent Scholarships require students to participate in one or more musical ensembles during the academic year. The Music Scholarship Acceptance Form outlines the ensembles in which students are required to enroll to remain eligible for the scholarship(s), and will be emailed at a later date. Students must register for the courses listed, print, sign, and return the form to the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office (via mail or attached to an email) in order to accept the scholarship. In addition to participation in the required ensembles, Activity-Talent Scholarships require students to apply each year, enroll full time, and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.00 after the fall semester. Eligible recipients receive one-half of their Activity-Talent scholarship each semester, with spring semester funding dependent upon their fall semester GPA (minimum of 2.00 required) and Activity Coordinator approval. Activity-Talent scholarships may be canceled at the discretion of the Activity Coordinator, at any time, and must be repaid for non-participation. In order to be considered for Activity-Talent scholarships for a subsequent academic year, a student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 at the conclusion of the spring semester.
