Roland and Mignon Earhart Livestock Judging Activity-Talent Scholarship

The Roland and Mignon Earhart Livestock Judging Scholarship requires students to participate on the Livestock Judging Team during the academic year. New students are required to enroll in ANSC 1210-01 (Livestock Judging I) during the Fall semester and ANSC 2230-01 (Livestock Judging III) during the Spring semester. Returning Students are required to enroll in ANSC-1220-01 (Livestock Judging II) during the Fall semester and ANSC 2240-0 (Livestock Judging IV) during the Spring semester. In addition to participation, you must also submit a thank you letter addressed to the donors of the scholarship, and you may be required to attend a donor luncheon in November; more details regarding the luncheon will follow. PLEASE NOTE THIS SCHOLARSHIP HAS SPECIFIC ACADEMIC AND/OR ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS THAT SUPERCEDE NWC’S ACTIVITY-TALENT SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS: available to full time students with an agricultural background. Must have and maintain at least a 2.00 GPA. Award based upon character and academic merit (as articulated in the essay section of the online scholarship application). Eligibility is dependent upon participation as determined by the Activity Coordinator, and may be canceled at the discretion of the Activity Coordinator, at any time, and must be repaid for nonparticipation.
