Trapper AL Access Level Scholarship
IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS IS NOT A MONETARY SCHOLARSHIP. CLICK FOR DETAILS.
This Trapper AL (Adult Learner) notification is simply NWC’s method to communicate to you the anticipated amount of NWC Private Donor scholarship you may receive at a later date. If you receive a Private Donor award announcement in the spring or summer, this dollar amount will be removed from your application. The Private Donor announcement will replace this Trapper AL level.
Trapper AL Access Level Scholarships are available to degree seeking students 24 years old or older who enroll full time each semester at NWC. To qualify, new students must have a final high school Grade Point Average (GPA) or GPA from a previously attended Institution of Higher Learning (whichever is most recent) between 2.00 and 2.99, Pre-2014 GED test recipients must have a score between 460-539, Post-2014 GED test recipients must have a score between 151-163, HiSET test recipients must have an average score between 10-13, and Home schooled students must have an ACT score between 17 and 20. Returning students’ eligibility will be based on their cumulative NWC GPA. Students must be registered for a minimum of 12 credit hours at the last day to drop a full-semester class (referred to as Census Date) for the Fall and Spring semesters. Eligible recipients receive one-half of their academic year Trapper scholarship each semester, with spring semester funding eligibility dependent upon their Cumulative GPA after the fall semester (min of 2.00 required at end of fall semester). Students must maintain a Cumulative GPA of at least a 2.00 after the conclusion of each spring semester to qualify for Trapper scholarships for the next academic year. Students must complete the online scholarship application each year to be considered for NWC Scholarships.
