Telephone Pioneers of America

Telephone Pioneers of America

Established in 1997, this scholarship honors the legacy, service, and dedication of past and present telephone company employees of the Big Horn Basin. Created through a generous founding gift of nearly $16,000 from the Telephone Pioneers of America organization in Worland, Wyoming, this scholarship stands as a lasting tribute to the vital role these professionals played in connecting our communities. By reducing financial barriers for Northwest College students, the Telephone Pioneers of America continue their tradition of service-this time by investing in the region’s future leaders at NWC.
