Starr Community Club

The Starr Community Club Scholarship reflects the longstanding commitment to supporting education and strengthening the future of the community in and around Powell. Established through the generosity and vision of club members, the endowment was created to help local students pursue higher education at Northwest College while remaining connected to the community that supported them.

For years, the Starr Community Club has driven service organization dedicated to community involvement, civic engagement and improving opportunities for residents. Through this scholarship, the club’s legacy of service continues by investing in Park County students.

The scholarship is available to full-time Northwest College students who are permanent residents of Park County School District #1 and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50.

Originally established in 2007, the endowment is managed by the Northwest College Foundation as a permanent fund, ensuring that earnings from the investment continue to provide scholarship support for generations of students.
