St. Barbara's Catholic Church

In the mid 1990’s, Wes Metzler’s older sister moved back to Wyoming from California. She was a faithful and devout Catholic who was fighting cancer which eventually took her life. Wes and his wife Coleen had the idea to contribute the bulk of her inheritance to create this scholarship for Catholic students attending NWC. The Metzler family have continued their lifelong support of Catholic youth and education providing financial assistance while keeping Northwest College viable in the community.
