Ross Copenhaver Memorial Scholarship

This memorial scholarship was established to honor the life and legacy of Ross D. Copenhaver, a respected Powell attorney, Wyoming legislator, and longtime supporter of Northwest College. Through his years of service to the community and dedication to education, Mr. Copenhaver left a lasting impact on the community and the state of Wyoming.
Born in Douglas Wyoming, Ross Copenhaver served several terms in the Wyoming Legislature holding office from 1973 to 1978 and dedicated many years as a director on the Northwest College Foundation Board.
Created in 1996 through memorial gifts from family and friends, this endowed scholarship supports Powell High School graduates pursuing a pre-law major at Northwest College. Recipients of the scholarship must demonstrate strong academic achievement, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, while pursuing their education goals full time at NWC.
