Morales Veronica Nursing Scholarship

Jessica’s commitment to education and community empowerment is at the heart of the Morales Veronica Nursing Scholarship. Born to parents who immigrated from Mexico in the 1980s, Jessica understands firsthand the challenges that come with being a first-generation college student. Growing up in Wyoming, she witnessed the resilience of her parents, who worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for their family. Inspired by their sacrifices and driven by her own pursuit of education, Jessica became the second in her family to attend college. She graduated with an Associates Degree in Nursing from Northwest College in 2021 and began funding this named scholarship at NWC in 2024. Jessica acknowledges the transformative impact of scholarships on her own academic journey and wants to pay it forward to future nursing professionals.
