Mitch Kelley Memorial Scholarship Endowment

This memorial scholarship was established to honor the legacy of Mitch Kelley by supporting students pursuing their passion for the outdoors through education at Northwest College. Mitch was a wrestler at NWC and an avid sportsman. He and fellow teammate, Darcey Satterfield, were killed in a car accident returning to campus from a hunting trip in the Pryor Mountains in October of 1979.
This endowment reflects a commitment to expanding access to higher education, particularly for NWC students majoring in Outdoor Education and Recreation. This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate financial need and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Recipients must continue to meet academic standards to retain fundings, encouraging both access and accountability
