Mildred Robertson Parr Memorial Music Scholarship Endowment
Mildred Robertson Parr was an educated, buckskin-wearing, shotgun-toting woman who played the piano and violin “like an angel.” A member of one of Cody’s founding families in the early 1900s, Mildred was known in her teen years as an accomplished riflewoman and hunter. She’s remembered later for starting the successful Green Gables Inn and for sitting directly behind Dwight Eisenhower at his presidential inauguration. This scholarship remembers her softer musical side that was so important to her children.
