Michael Fleming Memorial Schoalrship
Established in 1998, this scholarship was created by friends and family to honor the memory of Mike Fleming, a non-traditional aged student who tragically passed away in a hunting accident.
Much of the funding for the scholarship came via the Frannie Bar in Frannie, Wyoming. Patrons, family and friends would gather for an annual dart tournament with the proceeds going towards this memorial scholarship. The event lasted for nearly 10 years.
The scholarship provides financial assistance to deserving non-traditional aged students at Northwest College, helping support students as they pursue their educational goals later in life. It is awarded based on academic merit and financial need and may support either full or part-time students.
