LDS Endowed Scholarship Fund

Believing that education is a religious responsibility, area representatives from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints worked with church leaders in Salt Lake City to create a scholarship program that assists members enrolled at Northwest College in attaining their educational goals.

An umbrella program was developed to include academic standards and an LDS committee designated for awarding the funds which are available each year. Individual families have established named scholarships within the program while others contribute to a collective LDS scholarship.

Former LDS scholarship committee leader Bob Croft explained, “Northwest College is a great academic institution for LDS students seeking higher education. We believe it is a great choice because of the quality academics offered by NWC coupled with the LDS Institute and a dedicated Ward building adjacent to campus.”
