Jay Collins Memorial Basketball Scholarship

Coach Collins died unexpectedly just as he was set to enter his fourth season as Head Coach of the Trapper Men’s basketball team. Jay was beloved by his colleagues and student-athletes and his passion for the sport he loved was hard to match. Shortly after his passing, his wife Sheila along with friends and family members teamed together to create a scholarship endowment fund for players on the men’s basketball team who embodied the spirit of Coach Collins. He will be missed, but his memory is influencing today’s student-athletes today and beyond.
