Genevieve Mickelson Memorial Lovell High School Class of 1939 Scholarship

For generations, the value of a strong education has been recognized as an investment not only in an individual student, but in the future of an entire community. The Genevieve Mickelson Memorial Class of 1939 Scholarship reflects that belief by helping a deserving Lovell High School graduate pursue higher education at Northwest College.
Established in 2004 through gifts from the Mickelson family and members of the Lovell High School Class of 1939, the endowment carries forward a legacy of generosity and a commitment to helping students achieve their goals. The scholarship provides financial assistance to a graduating Lovell High School senior who demonstrates financial need and for whom the support can make a meaningful difference in pursuing higher education.
The scholarship’s connection to the Class of 1939 gives it particularly meaningful history. Created more than six decades after that graduating class began its own journeys, the endowment allows their legacy and Genevieve Mickelson’s memory to continue making a difference for students today.
