Gene Shuler Memorial Pitch and Putt Scholarship Endowment
As a Big Horn Basin boy at heart, Gene Shuler loves to play horseshoes. He also loves to golf. But he really loves Northwest College and that’s evident in a big way through the agriculture scholarship endowment he helped to develop. Each year he honors his NWC alumni heritage (along with family and friends) by holding a ‘Pitch and Putt’ horseshoe and golf tournament. Gene gathers business and individual sponsors for the tournament, organizes its play and delivers checks to the Northwest College Foundation with a big smile on his face. He in turn, puts a grateful smile on student’s faces as they benefit from his actions.
