Frere Family Athletic Scholarship Endowment

Meg and William Frere are big believers in higher education and value the sustainability of academics and athletics in the region. They want to support academic and athletic programs and encourage an international perspective. Their nephew, Colin Hayes was the inspiration behind their desire to create an athletic scholarship. Hayes played Men’s Basketball for two years at NWC under Head Coach Andy Ward. The Frere Family Athletic Scholarship was established to help support full-time students participating in intercollegiate athletics as members of one of Northwest College’s teams with preference given to international students and priority to Men’s Basketball.
