Donald J. Livingston Commemorative Engineering Scholarship

Donald J. Livingston Commemorative Engineering Scholarship

Don “Livy” Livingston founded “Engineering Associates” in Cody in the 1950s and guided its growth and development over the decades. His hard work and sacrifice made it what it is today. He has always been a tireless advocate for the engineering and surveying professions, both locally and across the state and nation. Many of the people trained and mentored by Don over the years have been graduates of Northwest College. He found that NWC consistently produces graduates that meet his high standards. The College provides associates degrees in engineering and in drafting and also continuing education classes for local professionals. Engineering Associates partners with Northwest to educate the next generation of engineers and to provide some of them the opportunity to return or remain in the Big Horn Basin.
For a man who practically laid his life down at the doorstep of Northwest College, honoring his legendary work and robust handshake with a named scholarship only seemed appropriate.
