Collier Barcus/Casper Chase Fallen Soldiers Scholarship Endowment

This scholarship was established to honor the memory of fallen Wyoming service members and to support students pursuing higher education at Northwest College. This scholarship reflects a deep commitment to service, sacrifice, and opportunity-ensuring that the legacy of Wyoming’s fallen soldiers lives on through education. Honoring Collier E. Barcus – Army Pfc. Barcus gave his life in service to his country in 2004 while serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom. At just 21 years old, Collier was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was killed during a mortar attack in Baghdad. His courage, character, and love for his country continue to inspire those who learn his story. This endowed scholarship was created to help provide quality, affordable education for Wyoming residents enrolled at NWC. The fund supports degree seeking students taking six or more credits who maintain a minimum 2.50 GPA.
