Brabec Family Scholarship Endowment

Dennis Brabec grew up in Deaver, Wyoming, graduating from Northwest Collee in 1968 with a chemistry degree. His four siblings also attended ‘NWCC’ because it was an affordable, quality educational option and well-suited as a place for young people from small communities to get started in school. Dennis went on to earn a petroleum engineering degree from the University of Wyoming. Now retired, he is co-owner and manager of Fiddleback Farms. Dennis and his wife, Lynn, live in Casper. The Brabecs still have land holdings in the Big Horn Basin, including a partnership in the Diamond Wings Upland Game Birds, and want to support Big Horn Basin students with their schooling. Dennis believes education is valuable, and he wants to encourage any form of advancement – trade or college education – as long as it challenges the individual and provides growth. The Brabec Family Scholarship honors multiple generations who have received solid education and fostered productive relationships at NWC.
