Bob and Evelyn Croft Memorial Scholarship Endowment
Bob and Evelyn grew up during hard times, and neither of them could afford to attend college. They farmed and raised their five children (two boys and three girls) on the Croft homestead three miles east of campus. They always wanted college for their children and grandchildren, and with their encouragement, all five of their kids attended NWC and later graduated from college. The Crofts believe in helping others, and they shared when people were in need. They were 4H leaders all of their lives, mentoring and guiding area youth to be successful. After passing away, their children funded this non-traditional student award to help those wanting an opportunity for career advancement.
“As a family, we are grateful to be able to share, to be of some help to others and to encourage them to a better life. We thank NWC for allowing donors this opportunity.”
