Bill and Karen Hayes Allied Health Scholarship

Karen Hayes attended community college in Corpus Christi, Texas. Her dad encouraged her to get a healthcare degree so she would always have a skill and be able to get a job. Wanting to support other students similarly, Bill and Karen provided healthcare scholarships in Frisco, TX for many years. When they moved to Shell, WY, Bill became involved with Northwest College, and it seemed natural to award healthcare scholarships for Wyoming residents. Their goal is to make it possible for local students to receive a lifetime skill with potential for a good paying job and to be able to stay in the Big Horn Basin.
