American Legion Auxiliary Memorial Scholarship

The American Legion Auxiliary’s mission is to support the American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of veterans, military, and families both home and abroad. Established in 1994, this scholarship was originally created to pay tribute to orphan children of veterans. The annual recipient of this award will be a deserving student who is a graduate of Powell High School and plans to attend Northwest College. Applicants must have a 2.50 GPA from high school and have a verified financial need. Special consideration shall be given to children and grandchildren of veterans.
